TI Recruiting Coach Developer Triathlon Ireland is looking for a Coach Developer to lead our coaching education courses and work with our Education team to provide world class coach education opportunities. For more on this exciting role see below.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesCourse Delivery:Deliver Triathlon Ireland’s Coaching Pathway suite of courses; Tri Leader, Level 1, Level 2 and CPD courses.Prepare and deliver high quality courses in accordance with the Triathlon Ireland course content.Observe and evaluate coaches and provide constructive feedback.Plan and facilitate group tasks to help coaches discuss, learn, challenge and share knowledge and ideas.Use modern delivery methods, IT and resources to deliver the courses.Administration:Engage with a coaching group prior to the course via the ITU learning Hub.Using the ITU learning Hub monitor and support assigned coaches. Marking and assessing assigned coaches coursework.Ensure all paperwork is completed within the ITU and TI course deadlines to ensure all coaches complete the course.Mentoring and Coach Support:Where required act as a mentor to coaches to support them post course.Provide coaches with information and support on developing their personal coaching pathway.Coach Education Development:Where required provide feedback into the Coach Developer Team to help develop Triathlon Ireland’s courses.Where required support Head of Education in developing CPD Modules and reviewing course content and delivery.Attend any Coach Developer workshops and meetings as required.Continuous Professional Development (CPD):All CD’s are expected to continuously reflect on their course delivery skills and develop where necessary.Attend any further training provided by Sport Ireland Act as a mentor to other Coach Developer’s and Coaches where required. Person Specification Experience Required:Current Triathlon Ireland licence holderTriathlon Ireland Level 2 Coaching Course preferredEvidence of significant commitment to best practice coaching methodologies either in Triathlon or another sport.Knowledge:Up to date knowledge of the Triathlon Ireland coaching pathwayUp to date knowledge of the Triathlon Ireland course content Skills:Plan and deliver coaching material to a range of abilities Ability to work with a variety of groups and facilitate group learning Excellent IT skills - TI utilises Moodle for the online learning part of the courses.Creative, innovative and adaptable in group delivery Proven leadership and organisational skillsExcellent communication skills Evaluate written and practical material and provide constructive and appropriate feedback Application processPlease send a detailed person specification evidencing your skills, knowledge and experience and a brief cover letter telling us why you think you are suitable for the role and why you would like to be a Coach Developer.
