Sheephaven Half_Swim Start

Triathlon Ireland has recently collaborated with several Irish National Governing Bodies (NGBs) on two exciting new Women in Sport programmes aimed a developing leaders in our sport. The programmes focus on high performance coaching and leadership, Triathlon Ireland Head of Education and Development Niamh O'Gorman outlined the importance of the collaborations;

"We are really excited to have the opportunity to partner with other NGB’s who are equally as committed to developing women in sport. These programmes are really important as they will initiate a cascade of female leaders in clubs, high level female coaches and female mentors, all of which will have a positive impact on women and girls in our clubs. The cross sport element will also provide real opportunities for networking, learning and collaboration between coaches across sports, strengthen the relationship between the NGB's and pave the way for future partnerships."
