Covid19 Update Graphic

This week there has been a change in Covid-19 restrictions for some areas, as announced over the last few days. Following consultation with the Sport Ireland Return to Sport Expert Group and the Sport NI Return to Sport Team, we have an update on triathlon training for members and clubs in the ROI and NI.

REPUBLIC OF IRELAND

Cavan, Donegal and Monaghan are currently on Level 4 of the 'National Framework for Living with Covid-19'. A full outline of club training at this level can be found in the Return to Training Protocol document, but the key points for Triathlon Ireland affiliated clubs are:

Outdoors

  • TI members can train within their own County.
  • TI members can train together outdoors in multiple groups of 15

Indoors

  • No club sessions permitted. Individual sessions only
  • Pools are closed

All other counties in ROI are currently on Level 3 restrictions, please view the Return to Training Protocol here for a full outline of what this means.
