Staying with the main pack on the bike, and coming out of T2 in a large pack in 19th. Slowing slightly on the 5k run, Russell finished in 26th place after also incurring a time penalty.26th yesterday at @wts_edmonton A result I’m very happy with after really struggling in my last few races. Things are starting to come together with a top 10 swim and a solid bike. A few issues on the run and a time penalty stopped me from getting a slightly higher finish, but happy with the positives I’m coming away with. Now time for @triathlonireland 1st relay in a couple of years to round off the weekend. 📷 @tzaferesA post shared by Russell White (@russellwhite6) on Jul 28, 2018 at 7:24am PDTCassie Cava wins women's PTS4Cassie Cava earned valuable ITU points this weekend, winning her PTS4 Category in the Paratriathlon. In his first competition since representing Ireland at the recent Tartu ETU European Championships, Tojo Lazzari finished 14th in the PTS4 Paratriathlon.2018 Malmö ETU Sprint Triathlon European CupNext up for Team Ireland is the 2018 Malmö ETU Sprint Triathlon European Cup on 4th August.
