Membership Survey

2014 Review

Your Voice is Important

As we move from winter training and the duathlon season to an exciting summer of triathlon, we’d be delighted if you’d take a few minutes to respond to our membership survey.

Your input is very important, as it shapes the way we operate, measures our performance and ultimately leads to an improved triathlon experience in Ireland. The outcomes of this survey will play a key role as the TI Board and executive team develop the organisation’s Strategic Plan for the period 2017-20.

2015 Milestones

Over the past year, we have increased our efforts to provide you with top quality customer service. We’ve launched a new website with improved functionality, and in partnership with our clubs and race organisers, we’ve delivered the inaugural Super Series, including the draft legal sprint & standard distance national championships.

Triathlon Ireland membership has grown by 10% and our junior membership increased by more than 100% thanks to the efforts of our provincial Development Officer team and our forward-looking clubs who have experienced an influx of young athletes to multisport activities.

We have made a significant investment in Paratriathlon which has resulted in great strides for both participation and high performance.

Our Coach Education Team delivered 'Foster the Future' coaching conference and as an organisation, we are fully compliant with the highest governance standards for charitable bodies in Ireland.

2016 is Olympic & Paralympic year, and we have a number of athletes in position to represent Ireland at Rio, not least Aileen Reid and Bryan Keane, with Catherine Walsh and her pilot Fran Meehan and Aidan McGlynn also chasing qualification points.
