Last weekend Piranha Triathlon Club celebrated its ten year anniversary. The club was formerly known as Tsunami when it was founded in 2001 by Anna Frankland and Ray O'Neill.

Triathlon Ireland held an extremely successful Junior Talent ID Day on the 13th of November. The Junior Squad is managed by Junior Programme Manager Elena Maslova and overseen by High Performance Director Chris Jones.

Irelands Ben Shaw showed promise after a creditable 33rd in the elite men’s ITU Auckland World Cup over the weekend. Shaw who is just 20 had a superb swim exciting in 5th in a time of 18:50 for 1500 meters.
