Ben Shaw has placed a fine 2nd at the Subic Bay ITU Asian Cup. Shaw, a strong swimmer was comfortably in contention throughout the swim a bike portion and produced a 34:13 Minute 10km run to finish 2nd.

Some 40 youth and junior athletes were invited to attend the Triathlon Ireland Talent ID Day in Greystones Co. Wicklow today.

Noelie Kavanagh and Helen White came out on top of the 100 strong field at the Tinahealy Duathlon today. Kavanagh lead from start to finish with a quick 16:46 first 5km run, 31:50 20km bike and 10:22 2.8km run.

A team of 25 athletes from Galway Triathlon Club will travel to the Spanish island of Mallorca next week to compete in the IRONMAN 70.3 race on May 12th in Alcudia.
