Waterville Triathlon was held on Saturday 5th May 2012 at The Waterville Lake Hotel under glorious sunshine. The first wave of the swim was set off at 12 noon by the legendary GAA manager Mick O’Dwyer, followed closely by the 2nd wave at 12.05pm.

Killashee ‘Down Syndrome Ireland’ Sprint Triathlon. The inaugural running of Naas Tri Club’s Sprint Triathlon at Killashee Leisure Centre got underway on Saturday morning in bright but chilly conditions.

Gavin Noble finished 25th in blistering heat of the Huatulco ITU World Cup in Mexico. Gavin is defending his current ranking inside the top 55 with official Olympic Selection announced at the end of May.

Ben Shaw has placed a fine 2nd at the Subic Bay ITU Asian Cup. Shaw, a strong swimmer was comfortably in contention throughout the swim a bike portion and produced a 34:13 Minute 10km run to finish 2nd.

Noelie Kavanagh and Helen White came out on top of the 100 strong field at the Tinahealy Duathlon today. Kavanagh lead from start to finish with a quick 16:46 first 5km run, 31:50 20km bike and 10:22 2.8km run.
