Due to insufficient Garda resources it is with regret that Fingal Triathlon Club have been forced to cancel their duathlon event scheduled for Saturday March 2nd.
Following on from the success of Triathlon Ireland’s Senior and Junior Elite athletes over the past number of years, TI is pleased to be able to appoint Stephen Delaney into the new role of National Development Coach.
This year’s Conamara Duathlon was won by Jude McEntee of Ennis Tri Club, following a tight battle between the first four finishers.
The Intern will assist with the promotion of the sport of triathlon in the media along with ensuring TI’s website and social media outlets are maintained to the highest standards. The Intern will also assist with sponsorship servicing and event act
2012's National Duathlon Champion Paul Carrol was tested at the 2nd Naas Duathlon of the year however had enough in the tank to come out on top.
Ireland’s top triathlete Aileen Reid got her season off to a flying start thanks to a podium finish in the ITU Devonport Sprint Oceania Championships.
