Zone 3: Supporting Athletes

For years, Race Zone 3 have been supporting Triathlon Ireland's athletes by putting them in the best wetsuits on the market and helping them develop in to the next generation of international triathletes.

For 2016 Zone 3 are supporting Triathlon Ireland High Performance development athlete Kieran Jackson (pictured above), the TI Junior Development squad and members of Triathlon Ireland's parathriathlon team.

Zone 3 was started by former elite athlete James Lock in 2007 to support his triathlon career. While studying for a first class engineering degree in Loughborough University, James put his in-depth knowledge of the triathlon world to use by designing his own wetsuits (he can be seen leading Olympic Champion Alistair Brownlee out of the water in an early Zone 3 wetsuit below)

Loughborough University was the perfect place to set out designing world class sports products and a huge amount of testing with elite and amateur athletes was done before the first Zone 3 range was released.

Zone 3 wetsuits have won countless awards and made ground-breaking advancements and are the perfect partner for Triathlon Ireland's junior development athletes as they aim to take on the world.
