Women's Try-a-Tri Programme

Have you ever wanted to take part in a triathlon event? Triathlon Ireland and the Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council are running a seven week long Try-a-Tri programme for women over the age of 16 which will take you all the way from complete beginner to participating in your first race at the Stenaline Triathlon on September 4th.

Training sessions take place twice a week under the guidance of Triathlon Ireland qualified coaches who will provide participants with support, motivation and a tailored training plan.

Cost: £50 (includes free entry into the Stenaline Triathlon event on Sunday 4 September)

    • Triathlon Ireland licence
    • Entry to the Stenaline Triathlon (with an option of a shortened version of the race if needed)

Participants need to first register as a site user (free) on the Triathlon Ireland website.

Once registered, click on the events tab and then into the race calendar and scroll down to July 18th. Next, follow the prompts to pay for the programme.  

The cost is in Euros but this equates to £50 as advertised.
