Sea conditions were almost perfect with only a slight break keeping the athletes out from the beach the result being some very impressive swim times. The spectating public were stunned to see the small figures emerge from the water. Neutralised transition was a formality for all competitors as they burst out onto the Victorian Promenade to settle final race positions. Each race wave swam and ran Triathlon Ireland age approved distances with seriously impressive performances across the programme.
