Elite Paratriathlon Elite Selection Policies

Triathlon Ireland (TI) is developing a Programme to support athletes with medal winning potential at the ITU/ETU and Paralympic Games. Given the limited funds available it is essential that Triathlon Ireland target those athletes through TI Days or Talent Transfer who can perform on the world stage and who have an ability to win medals at elite level for Ireland. TI is setting the standard high for athletes to be able to compete at the highest level in Paratriathlon.

Athletes wishing to be considered to represent Ireland at Elite ITU/ETU races must email at least 8 weeks before the event. Applicants will be notified of the decision of the panel 6 weeks before the event.

Triathlon Ireland Selection Panel will utilise the following criteria when assessing slots to represent Ireland at Elite Paratriathlon Level for 2015.

Slots are subject to funding and ITU quota allocation.
